ASHOKA FOOTBALL ACADEMY, New Delhi

For the first time two boys from Noida school selected to represent Delhi in u-13 football team for National championship held at jamshedpur (TATA) from 12 jan to 23 jan 2009. They are ANIRBAN BARUA of 7 standard of DPS SCHOOL , Noida VIDANT BHARDWAJ of 7 standard of AMITY INT. SCHOOL, Noida. Both are playing as a stricker & they are taking coaching at Noida Stadium from last three years.

For the first time four Noida girls have been selected in U.P. state senior football team for 17th senior women's national football championship being held at Neyvli ( T.Nadu ) from 27th feb to 15th march 2009.

In the final selection in Varanasi out of 45 girls from all over U.P. four are selected from Noida. They are:

1. Poonam Chauhan

2. Sanam Khan

3. Rinku Lal

4. Farhana Salmani

The Sr. vice president of Noida District Football Association Dr. Kalpana Sharma ( director of sports and physical education ) Amity University wishes them All The Best.

U-13 India Football Camp

Kartikeya Swarup, Sikander Ali Khan & Vikrant Bhati of APJ School , Noida, Delhi Public School , Ghaziabad & St. Josephs School , Greater Noida have been selected for the Indian Football U-13 Coaching Camp to be held at Jamshedpur from 20^th March to 15^th May, 2009.

Anadi Barua, Secretary, District Football Association(D.F.A.) Secretary remarked that all the three footballers have a great chance of representing the U-13 Indian Team in international matches as they have proved themselves in the recently concluded U-13 AIFF Football Festival held at Jamsedpur. Sikander Ali Khan was also the captain of the U.P. State Team in the Football Festival.
